Founders

Rick Palmer

Rick has over 30 years’ experience as an entrepreneur, advisor and M&A partner to businesses in the marketing, technology and creative sectors.

He built and sold his first digital company to a UK PLC in 1999, created one of London’s most awarded digital agencies of the 2000s serving global brands, and as Global Senior Partner at an M&A firm dedicated to the creative industries led over 50 transactions including the $50M sale of a US martech business.

He now helps founders and investors build scale, create value and achieve successful exits.

Rob Reid

Rob has over 25 years’ experience as a founder, operator and advisor to marketing, technology and media related businesses.

His companies have included a publicly listed investment fund with $500m AUM, a B2B information & conference platform that is now the global leader in its vertical, and a digital marketing agency acquired by Stagwell.

He also spent many years as a Partner of another M&A firm as well as a startup incubator. He is now focused on supporting Motion's clients build scale and realise shareholder value.
